ENGAGED :D

Hi girls. I don't know too many of you girls and for the ones I do I haven't been on here in sooo long. My darling girl is getting SO big. She is pushing four months and her first tooth! My boyfriend proposed to me last month and we are getting married December 27th. So much stress! A wedding is a WHOLE lot to plan in four months! Sooo... do any of you brides have any advice on how to plan a wedding and be a SAHM and maintain mysanity?? I live with my fiance and he is pulling two jobs so we are both getting uber stressed. ANY advice welcome  

How big of a wedding are you wanting? I helped my mom plan a nice but small wedding in a 8 days for my sister. She had a dress, cake, food, a church, flowers. I think it was gogerous. If you have any questions orwant tips for money saving ideas etc.PM me. ( I helped my mom study to go to school to be a wedding and event planner)

i planned my wedding in about 8 weeks
its was small and beautiful. Details are important but dont stress...things come together. I found it easier to keep things simple and pretty than try to make it more difficult and complicated...

I want it not too big but pretty big. Mymom is helping but she has to know what I want and its too hard! His mom wants to help too but she wants it HER way. I guess that's what makes it stressful. My mom asked his mom to pay for the rehearsal dinner. That's IT! Traditionally thats how it goes anyway and she laughed IN OUR FACE. Grrr... mil is SO on the bad side

I did my wedding in about 2 weeks. It was about 3,000 dollars and it turned out real nice. The mayor married us but it was stressful trying to pull things together. I had to compromise on somethings like my flowers I wanted callalillies and i ended up with roses but you have more time to pull things together. Good-luck and congratulations.

we had to pay for eEVERYTHING ourselves, my family sucks.

but for the reception it was real basic, at our house (we had a nice house wiht a pool and such ..since then we have moved) good food, good company = good time.
than after who wanted to go out and drink we all went to a really nice outside tiki bar and we paid for most of the drinks there as well. but everything we did was outside....except when we ate.
