Stretch marks with 2nd pregnancy?

posted 21st Aug
Hey I am 6 months pregnant with my second child and was wondering if any 2nd time moms got any more strerch marks their second time around. I got some underneath my belly button with my daughter but she is 4 now and they have almost completely faded. My stomach seems to be smaller with this pregnancy too. So i was wondering if any of you moms got more stretch marks with your second baby?

my stomach is so bad this time around I'm almost a new shade of pink in my stomach area!
It sucks.
Stretch marks never go away just shrink or "simi-vanish" but always come back no matter how much time is inbetween. and most woman get bigger and bigger with the more and more pregnancies they have in their life times.

Ihave beenwondering the same thing... My son is 8 and with him I only got stretch marks on my hips, none on my stomach at all. And even the ones I got are so light you can barely see them, theywere never pink or red.I know I am bigger this time around and I'm just waiting for something to show up on my stomach. I lather up with my coco butter every night, trying to prevent it and so far it's working but I still have lots of time left

Hi,

I used to have pretty bad stretch marks and red scars around my belly region ever since I gave birth to my three kids.I had tried Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter which a number of people had recommended but unfortunately it didn't seem to work too well. My Doctor had even suggested that I go for a Tummy Tuck. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked really well. It took a number of weeks but my stretch marks soon faded away. You can read the lady's article at the link below.

I have heard from many many moms that the coco butter didn't help one bit. Ive heard from doctors too that really no amount of ointment is going to prevent or lessen stretch marks. If you are going to get them then there really isn't much you can do. All the lotions and ointments do is kinda lube up the skin and might give it a little bit more elasticity. last time I used anything with coco butter in it I broke out into a huge rash whereever I put it.
