Big Day Today!

well.. mallory is only 10 months.. but i consider her a toddler... since she walks, talks and eats everything we do...


anywhoo.. so the past 4 times we went to the mall, i wanted to get her ears pierced, but backed out..

it was a VERY slow day at the mall today (we went during school hours)

well, today i went and check out the prices... and then gave mal some tylenol.. walked around the mall a little bit then came back when i knew it would be in her system..

she got her right hear first.. didnt cry.. just pissed i was holding her down.
left ear.. OMFG she freaked out.. then the back of her earring came off when she pulled on it and then she started crying even more..  

it wasnt a bad experience for her though i dont think.. she got lots of lovin and kisses after it was done.. i just dont think she liked me holding her arms and head down.

anywhoo... so she got 3mm white gold balls in her ears. sooo freakin cute.   and they better be for $30!  

She got some Arby's curlyfries for being so good.. ( she LOVES curly fries!!) and the lady piercing her ears gave her a grape lollipop.


so Mallory so far likes them... she looks at them in the mirror and after her bath, (but before she got out) i cleaned her ears and then when she let me we both clapped together.   shes soooo stinkin cute!



I just had to share.. that was our big day today. Shes such a good girl!  

My step daughter was 8 months when we got her ears pierced! She totally freaked out for about 4 1/2 seconds. Then forgot about it! They had two girls and did both her ears at once, though. I think Daddy almost hada heartattack but Mckensy was just fine. And they look so freakin' cute, don't they!?

Wow they did one ear at a time. . ouch. . .When we did my daughters she was about a year old and they did them both at the same time but the one lady messed up and her ears are uneven, they offered to do it again and was like Hell NO!! she can get it fixed. My daughter screamed for over an hour I felt so bad. . . Im glad you have a good baby and that she likes them

I wanna get my baby's ears pierced. How soon should I get them? My mom told me I got mine done when I was 2 WEEKS....

i got Mallory's done at Claire's and if the baby is under 3mths.. you have to bring their up to date shot record or they wont do them....

I waited until mallory got out of her 'ear pulling' stage to get them done... i was afraid if i did it sooner she'd rip them out..  


i would NOT get them done at 2weeks.. lmao. you poor thing! i'd feel soooo guilty about that...

i'd say definantly before a year though.... 5mths ish... before they can like REALLY try to get away from you in the chair seems like an ok age..  

Ive had my ears pierced since i was a month old and just took my daughter monday to get hers done she was mad i held her hand sout of the way and once they pierced her ears she screamed like fornot even a full 2 seconds and then went back to sleep
