i watched a show about a woman who was getting her third c section, and it was more high risk.
there were a few more precautions they took to make sure everything was okay, since they were working with scar tissue, and everything went well.

My mom had 4 c sec. I doubt they will let you have a vbac with your 3rd. Especially since it was only 13 months ago. What was your reason for the first 2?

Not true. I have an aunt who had 2 c-sections then her other 2 were vbacs.
It IS possible. Talk to your OB about it. He may not suggest it but if you think you can do it go for it!

I worked with a lady who says she had six c-sectionsshe is probably 70 years old so maybe she really did orher age stretched out the number, I never asked to see her battle scars though, but for me, I don't have the guts to do v-bac.

I haven't had any, but I do know that it depends on the type of incisions made onthe uterus itself in the previous surgeries. If you had a vertical incision with either of the other two, they won't let you even try due to risk of uterine rupture - I had a friend who was devastated to find that her incision was vertical.... as she had the low-transverse incision on the outside.

And.... If you are allowed to try a vbac, most doctors won't induce you, and they usually say they can't give you pitocin to speed it up if your labor stalls.... Just talk to your doc about it, they should get your old records to see if it's even possible to try.....

i have a horizonal pubic scar so that wouldnt be the problem...with ally, i was induced and was in labor 16 hours and her heart rate started to go down and it was just a horrible experience and my ob gave me the option to have a v bac with emma but i am glad that i did the section because she said that i was going to end up having one anyway because she was 8 lbs 12 oz...so i am not sure whats going to happen lol ally was 7 lbs 4 oz and was 1 week early and emma was 2 weeks early

Your doc might let you do a vbac then - depends on how conservative he/she is....   Good luck!

From what I have read on the subject it is more of a possiblity to NOT have a VBAC after 2 or more csections due to scar tissue. It really all depeneds on your OB and the hospital in which you would be delievering. Your best option is to bring it up at your next app and find out what is available for you.

Good Luck Mama!
