Everyone told me to use baby soap because they could have a skin reaction to the harsh chemicals in Tide or Downy... So Ive used Dreft and Purex Baby. Dont forget to do the blankets and recieving blankets too.

I use method, which is target brand and it's inexpensive and you can use it with everyone clothes. Also using a baby safe soap for you is a good idea so that when you hold him against you, you have no worries!

You could use Dreft and sepnd a butt load of money using it or simply use anything stamped FOR BABY or even sensitive skin no additives type brands. Sure you could wash with regular detergent and make it go through another rinse cycle, but then you would be wasting water uping your water bill and wearing out you kids clothes much faster.
