Hey im also a teen mom. Im 19. I was induced at 42 weeks and it started out ok. I was hooked up on poticen at 8am and by about 6pm nothing had happened so they stoped it and let me eat something Worst thing ever!! My labor started on its own at 8pm! I was sooo sick but the contractions werent that bad so around 8cm I had an epi and at 2am I started pushing and pushing after 3 hours of that I had a c-section b/c my daughters face was up and she had her hand on top of her head LOL well right after they took her out they put me to sleep for some reason idk why. But shes great was born at 5:23am and was 7.11.....................Good Luck I wish u the best and a great l&d.

hey my name is meagan n i just had my first child. i was induced bc of preclamsia and my labor was easy but long..i didnt even know u was contractiing until about 5 centimeters dialted. then i started feeling them n got a epiduarl...and then i didnt feel anything again...the only negative thing i have to say is that it was just so long. i was n labor for 22 hrs and a hour of pushing. but dont b worried about it...after its over with you will never think about it again. it will b a very positive and worth while experience. good luck!

Giving birth does hurt, but if you ask me now i cant really tell you what if feels like. its just something you dont think about after. The advice i can give you is to not freak out its all worth it..(I HOPE I GAVE YOU A LITTLE SOMETHING OF WHAT YOU ASKED)

I was having false labour from 6pm until 12am for about a week before I had my daughter so when I actually went into labour I had no idea that it was the real thing because it started at 6pm but my waters broke at 12am and thats the only reason I knew I was in labour. We got to the hospital at 2am and I was only fingertip dialated but my contractions were 3mins apart and within half an hour they were 1.5mins apart. At 6am I was 2cm's.At 10am I was 4cm so they started me on the induction drip thing to make my contraction's stronger. At about 12pm I talked them into geting a shot of pethadine. Bad idea it made me sooo angry and with the pain as intense as it was I turned into a total bitch. They eventually talked me into getting the epi. It didnt work for me and after 4 top ups of my epi. I could still feel all the pain in my left side. They decided it was time to do an emergency c-section at about 4pm. It took just over an hour to get everything ready and in that hour I went from 4cm's to 9 but my daughter was still at -2 station and was facing upwards so they went ahead with the c-section. I had my beautiful baby girl at 5:51pm that day. Sorry it is so long
*edited* I was in labour for just under 23hours before my c-section.

ready for mine???
im 19 and have a 6 month old son, hes amazing!!!
for two weeks i was having contractions 7 minutes apart and constant, i couldnt sleep so everyday i was in the hospital being monitored and getting morphine shots to sleep, i wasnt progressing at all or they wouldve kept me...so 3 days after my due date they broke my water since i was finally 4cm and then the contractions and everything stopped, so they started the pitocin and i had constant like 100x harder contractions and i wanted to die, lol i went for 8 hours like that because i wanted a natural water birth, but i ended begging for the epi after 8 hours and then i took a nap and when i woke up i was ready to push, i pushed for 2 hours and he got stuck and for an hour of that i blacked out from this awful pain i cant even explain, contractions dont even come close, i thought i was going to die, but i remember signing the c-section papers and screaming i want to die and them telling me he was stuck and in danger but i remember telling them no hes not, my baby is fine, he will come out, so i kept pushing because the pain was so horrible i couldnt stop and he wouldnt come out, so i had a c-section and i was asleep through the whole thing form exhaustion....but the recovery was easy and my son was fine they just had to keep a close eye on him, he was so bruised up on his face from being stuck it was so sad.

with my first I was about 9days past my due date I believe.. But I went in labor on my own, I had a natural birth (no meds at all) it wasnt that painful, there were some points where I was ready for the epidural.. Pushing was the worst! That was the most painful part of the whole 12hrs I was in labor..
With my 2nd I went into labor on my due date. I had a natural birth with her also. Hers wasnt near as bad either way.. Pushing was bad but not as bad as with Brayden... I was in labor with Olivia for about 17hrs.. I was 20 when I had Brayden and 22 with Olivia.. And I think I had pretty easy births.
