BH Contractions

posted 20th Aug
is it normal for BH contractions to wake a person up?

i remember waking up about four times this morning from the cramping... I don't think it hurt that bad but I could hear myself moaning...

I also started getting them while I was going on a walk.

I know there are a a lot of these posts but i'm just really curious. is it normal for some one to start getting them this early? [33 weeks]

Ah. Normal? Or no?

I get braxton hicks and I'm only 27 weeks, they started at about 22 weeks....but they are painless and they definitley don't wake me up, it's just a tightening in one area of my belly.....at first i didn't even realize it was braxton hicks i thought it was just the baby's head or butt.....lol.....have you talked to your doctor about it? I'm pretty sure they aren't suppose to be painful

i think it's normal , but if they are waking you up i'd ask your doc just to make sure there is nothing else going on like early labour ( better to be safe than sorry  )
getting them while walking is normal too , the baby moves down with the motion of walking and the cramps may well be your long ligaments taking the weight shift .
i hope that helps
