My daughter is 19 months old and went through this for a while, too. The only thing that helped for us was "tough love", I guess you could call it. I would go in there once to make sure her diaper wasn't soaking wet or anything, then I would lay her down, cover her up (despite her kicking and saying NO) and tell her it was nuh-nights time, love you, good night. Then I would go back to my room and let her cry. The longest she actually screamed was about 5 minutes, after that she might cry or whine, but never longer than 20 minutes or so. And if I went back in, or got her water, or picked her up, it was worse the next night. I think it was a combination of impending change and her testing her limits since she has been able to play outside so much with it being summer and all.

Good luck with everything!

I've wondered the same thing, but it's not just toddlers. My daugher is 6 1/2 years old and I'm 37 weeks prego. My daughter is fully aware of the pregnancy, but recently she's resorted to some unusual habits. For the first time in her LIFE she peed her pants for no reason what so ever. She's gotten lazy on brushing her teeth and her hair, and doesn't want to go to bed at night, but it up super early in the morning.

My mom said that maybe she knows something that I don't. I'm curious if kids can tell things like that.

i know i wonder if they can tell my family and my in laws. tell me they can. i dont know how, like my mother in law saying is if its a boy and u havea boy ur son will be distant from u. and if u have son and its a girl ur son is more loving to u. and if u have a girl and and ur prego with another girl there distant from u. basiclly visa versa. but its werid because my son seems to want me at four in the morning all the time. and im having another boy.
