What could this be? Please read....

Hey ladies! I need your opinion on something. Let me tell ya what's going on. I think I O'd on July 28th. I was suppose to get AF around Aug. 12th and I didn't, so I tested on August 18th (yesterday morning) and got a BFN. So I just thought "oh well, we'll try again next month". Well today around noon, I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I got this brown bloody mucus. I thought that maybe I had started my period late. But that was it, nothing else. And certainly no AF. What's going on? Any suggestions as to what I need to do? Should I just wait for something else to happen. BTW, I've been cramping everyday since I O'd. Not sure if that means anything. Thanks for your input!

Go to the Dr and get a blood test would be my best suggestion. Good luck, hon!!

A it could be implantation and your hormones arent showing in your urine....so go get a blood test (I cramped on and off for 5 weeks and everything was normal) or B you could be miscarying....try another test in the morning if nothing else happens. If it's still negative go to the doctor.

Ok, thanks. Could it be that I'm starting AF late? I've had a little bit more spotting. I've not ever had any problems with this. This is why I'm asking about this change.

Its possible, but if you are generally very regular, I would go for a blood test. That way you can def rule in or out pregnancy and be better placed to be positive its just AF is off... Did you go off any kind of bc to TTC? Sometimes long term bc use, when its effects start thouroughly wearing off it can mess up your cycle.

I've not been on BCP's since June of 2007. I called my dr and she said to wait a week and then take another test and call her back. I had a little bit more spotting today. Not much at all! So I'm kinda hoping this is implantation bleeding! haha. I guess we'll just have to see how this pans out. I wasn't really worried about having a BFN the other day, just thought we would try again next month...like we've been doing for a year. But then this happened, and I'm not sure what to think about it.
