You guys wanna hear something super duper weird? Lol...
I thought I was getting one recently, but I ignored it... then the next day, I was SURE I had one. It was horrible, but I was stuck at home with 3 kids, and no car...
I googled "home remedies for yeast infections", and found out that you can put a clove of garlic... um... "up there". I called my grandma to ask her if she'd ever heard of that (she's a walking home remedy book), and she said "nope, but it sure can't hurt you."
I tried it, and 2 days later, it was totally gone.

Weird, I know. But it was free... and if I would've known about the garlic thing the day before, when I first noticed I was getting one, I could've been rid of it before it even got too annoying.

I managed to go 37 weeks without one ... I ate lots and lots of yogurt and watched the sugar intake. Then I had to take an anitbiotic and developed a "raging yeast infection" as my Dr. called it.
One of the best things to do to avoid them is to watch your diet. Yeast LOVES sugar and processed foods ... if you can stomach it, eat a lot of yogurt. Your baby will be getting acidopholus (live cultures that helps to kill yeast) and it will help them be healthier as well and may even prevent them from getting thrush.
Oh, and wear loose fitting cotton underwear as yeast thrives in warm, moist places. Mmmm, yuck.

Garlic is a well-known home remedy for yeast infections and works wonders. Most natural remedies in pill form include bothacidophilus and garlic. I would use precaution if you are pregnant though, especially if you are using it as a suppository.

Yeah, if you already HAVE a yeast infection Monistat 7 should be ok to use.You can also get some Monistat anti-itch cream if you are desperate.
To prevent yeast infections follow some of the advice I gave above. You will thank me.

I've tried putting yogurt up there. I guess it worked because it went away, but it took forever. I'll keep the garlic in mind. Did it smell?
