JERK JERK JERK!!!(long)

okay today we had a sonogram appointment
theres some back story first-
we had our anatomy sonogram when i was 19 weeks ( im 26 now )
that was JULY 2ND ,, we found out it was a girl ,, everything was okay except we couldnt get a good image of her heart since she had her back to us
so they rescheduled me to come back for a part 2 to get the heart images
i said i needed an appointment for tuesday or wednesday ( my days off) the guy says okay come back TUESDAY the 24th,,,,,
low and behold a week before the 24th ...i realize the 24th is a THURSDAY
i tried to get out of work i COULD NOT NO WAY
it was too short notice
Maybe i shouldve checked to make sure it was a tuesday or wednesday ill admit BUT that guy allways books my appointments,, i always ask for tues or wednesday ...and i get it ,, i didnt think this time would be different ,,, especially since he SAID it was a tuesday
so i called and rescheduled and the earliest they had was for TODAY
SOOOOOOOOOOO
now back to today
we go to the room at 10 am ,,, i spent an hour with the technitian not talking to us ,,, i was breaking my neck to see the screen so i ask her to move it and shes like ...oh okay with attitude ( SORRY for wanting to see my child ) and ontop of that this student is standing behind her ..SILENT ,, it was just uncomfortable ,,, at 10 50 shes like ,,, let me get a doctor ,, so this guy comes in and hes like did u miss an appointment this is very late to be getting your 1st anatomy exam
i explained what happened,,, he wasnt even listening ,,
he tells me ,,, GO TO LUNCH COME BACK IN 2 HOURS....
so she'll move
i said she doesnt really move all day he says lets just try
we go walk around the whole city,,, come back at 1 ,,, get on the table....guess what ?....
SHE DIDNT MOVE
"so hes like im not even gonna try this anymore"
and now hes sending us to a pediatric cariologist for fetal echo
i TOLD him i need a tuesday or wednesday appointment he goes ill try but its w.e is available...
so he calls my house an hour ago saying all he can get is THIS FRIDAY theres NOTHING ELSE available
so i go crazy calling work ,, noone can cover me ,, plus friday we are short staffed so its impossible ,,
so i go online and look up the adress he gave me ( its in a different building ) i ask to reschedule ,, the woman is like sure we have TUESDAY at 10 am ......
JERKKKKK
he was acting like i sit home all day and can come whenever he wants
i have a job...
I KNOW the babies appointments are IMPORTANT but we've heard the heart beat and its not an EMERGENCey appointment its just since they cant get it through normal sonogram because of her position ,,we've heard and seen her heart beat and they say everythign looks normal ,,we just need teh OFFICIAL measurements,,,
it just got me mad that he was acting like my job isnt important
UGHH i just needed to get that all out

I feel for you! I hate hospitals and more nurses act like their only there to put in their hours then there are done.

wow. I would, if possible try to find a new doctor lol. Not a very good experience. I know the u/s techs/doctors see babies ALL the time, but they should take into consideration that this is a special time for you ya know. How rude!

when we got to the clinic i go to my SO

i dont know why i just felt it ,,
my normal lady is VERY nice

I would have hit the dr. lol....i get so pissy when it comes to that stuff.

i was soo annoyed at the tech
she was pushing sooo hard on my stomache
i had her pushing down and my baby kicking up...
its a feeling you cant explain like an aggrivated stomache

yea if that ever happens to me i'll be sure to say sumthing but my doc. does all my sonograms...they have the machine in their office..how cool is that?

yeah theres was one time the baby was with her back towards us and i wasnt able to get any pictures cuz of that :O(
