baby-proofing the home

So aside from the routine outlet covers and cabinet latches, I've resorted to using other furniture to block Devyn from getting to say...the screen door blinds and the TV stand. He's 7 months old now and crawling like a mad man, climbing onto everything, and shoving everything in his mouth.

Anyone have any ideas and tips on baby-proofing your home? I could use some wise advice, because the coffee table jammed all the way up to the tv stand is a little tacky for my taste, lol.

Don't forget to round the edges of your table with the protectors, because you don't want baby to bust his head on the side of the coffee table. Plus, he's also old enough to start learning the word "no sir". If he's into something you don't want him in, he's not too young for you to go, lift him up, say, "No Sir" and turn him away from it. He'll get the message after you do it a few times, you'll even start to see the thought process in his brain when he looks at the t.v. and thinks to himself "oh, no, sir". Good luck!

My son is nearly 10 months and he still laughs at me when I say NO !!!  What I done was separate the room one half for him and one for everything else!! lol
I got a room divider, and now he can play to his hearts content because the TV and all my nice little bits and bobs are on the other side of the fench 
Thats the only advice I have, but I do know "NO" doesnt always work!!!! And it only gets better!!! lol
