What would you do?

I am waiting on some results from a blood test that I had done yesterday. They told me when I got it done that my results would be ready by tonight (last night) or tomorrow morning (today). I gave them until noon and called and asked if they had my results. They said they didn't. They then took down my information and said they would "track it down" and call me back. Well, now it has been a little over 2 hours. Do you think I should call back or wait? I'm just really anxious and want to know the results. I hate when doctors do this!

oh yeah, and I would think it is a pretty important test that they would need to treat me if something was wrong!!

I hate doctors! Just because of my nature- I would call them every hour on the hour asking for your information since it was promised to you...when.... this morning? If they couldn't get it to you by then, they shouldn't have promised! I do enjoy sharing my irritability with others... lol

doctors are good for that. My dr office called me 2 weeks after a test and gave me the results acting like I was informed already. I was so shocked by their bluntness until she said "nobody called you yet, the results were back the next day." WTF!! I didn't get a call til 2 weeks later!!

that is insane! I just don't get it. I already called once, do I really have to call again?

I would give them a call back and express your concern.

call and bug the shit out of them... it always works lol.
tell them its important.. and they need to start tracking faster! =]
