Am I crazy for wanting to know?

So I posted before about having an ultrasound done, not finding out the gender, then not being able to go to a 3d place to determine the gender due to my doctor not signing the consent form.

Well I found a place that does them that doesnt require your doctors consent, all I have to do is bring my ultrasound pictures to prove I've been.

Anyway I was so excited and told my boyfriend that they can get me in Saturday. Well he didnt really seem all excited and just told me why cant I wait to find out the sex. He kept saying we can use the money to buy the crib or something. Which yes thats true but I wont be getting another ultrasound for at least 2 months and I just cant wait that long! Money for me is no issue at all, my mom even said shed give me the money for it when she got paid. Im just wondering if Im crazy or what for wanting to know if Im having a boy or girl so bad. I just feel like I cant really prepare until I know.My boyfriend said we'd go if I REALLY want to, he just doesnt seem as excited as me. Should I just say screw himI want to know so lets go, or should I wait for the 2 months?

No I don't think you're crazy at all. I am definitely finding out what I am having!!

of course you should be excited.if you feel you have the funds do it.then you will know if you need a girly crib or boyish crib.

I would go find out. Does he want to know? Or is he just concerned about money?

Yeah thats exactly how I feel. Plus I've been waiting and waiting to find out if my daughter will be sharing a room or my BF's son. I just feel so anxious to find out

Bare it out and wait those two months. It'll make it more exciting when you do finally find out. Just wait and get it for free instead of going to pay money for something your going to find out about in a few months! For my next one I'm not going to find out...I want a surprise I think. If I don't like certain clothes I"ll just take them back after I have the baby! lol

I couldn't wait either   I went and got the 3D done, my mother paid for it kind of like a gift to me, besides the 3D ultrasounds are WONDERFUL!

i Thought it was totally worth it to get a 3d ultrasound done. I'm even concidering doing it again since I get like 60 dollars off if I go back.

He wants to know but I guess its not as big of a deal to him. Hes pretty stingy with money so I guess thats his take on it.

well i mean i think u should wait so it can be surprising for u and ur boyfriend so yall can expirince da same excitment but i mean its up 2 u if u want to go or wait but i think u should wait

No you're not b/c I still have to wait til sept. 5th (20weeks5days) to find out what im having and its driving me nuts. My husband wants to know just as bad as i do lol

I have to add though.... I would wait until you are at least 28 weeks to do it because then you really get to see what their face will look like. I've seen some people who did theirs around 20 weeks and their babies look creepy lol. They usually advise you to wait with elective 3d ultrasounds because your baby will look a lot like an alien baby lol.

I considered that too but another reason why I want to get it done somewhere else is so that my daughter (shes 4) could go. When my doctors office does them no children are allowed. Shes so excited about being a big sister and was really upset she couldnt go with me last time to see the baby
