re: Am I crazy for wanting to know?

We have decided not to find out what we are having, but if money is not an issue and this is something that you really want I say go for it. Tell him when it is and if he wants to go fine...if not take your mom and he can wait the 2 months until the next one.

Well if you are crazy, then I must be crazy too.

There are certain things (like this) that I MUST know!!

And btw, I got a 3D u/s done and it was sooooo worth the money. You wouldnt believe the striking similarity between the pics we got and what my daughter looked like when she was born.

In a way I wouldj ust wait til your next ultrasound, I know it's a pain the ass waiting, but why spend money on it when you will get one not too long from now that you really don't have to pay for? .
I know over here we have to pay like $200 an ultrasound if we don't already have insurance to cover the costs & they only cover the ones your doctor sends you for & nothing more .
& no you aren't crazy for wanting to know the sex of the baby, I will want to know mine & I don't know how I could ever not know. . but it would be an exciting surpise .

Thanks everyone! I officially feel that im not crazy!   I'll more than likely have it done, so hopefully monday I can report back either team pink or team blue!

I know exactly how you feel! I had an ultrasound done at 15 weeks, and the tech said it might be too early still, but she tried to see what it was, and the baby had his/her legs crossed! On Monday, I seen my dr again, and he didn't schedule me for another ultrasound.. I was so sad! So I've been thinking about finding a 3D/4D place close by. Its perfectly fine to want to know so bad! I just want to know so I can prepare for this baby like any normal mom would do! Lol

Thats exactly why I want to know. I go back to the doctor Sept 11th and I dont know if he'll schedule me for another ultrasound since I barely had one. If he does it'll take another month for the appt (they schedule so many patients for ultrasounds it takes about a month to get an appt for one) So Im guessing at the very least I'd have to wait two months if not more! Im just so ready to know

Lol Thanks! I just left a comment on your page!   My BF wants to know but doesnt mind waiting until my next ultrasound which is at least another 2months if not more! Im just so excited

I'm definitely going to have to say you're far from crazy. I wanted to know so bad, and they told me at 15w5d and it was clearly obvious. I have no patience to wait, ha and everyone buying for the baby wants to know as bad as i do, so crazy?... no... that's my opinion.

really? well congrats on the baby boy. I had my ultrasound at 17 weeks and they couldnt tell me yet. Im so eager to know

Dont feel bad im 18 and 1/2 weeks and my doctors office is making me wait til 20 weeks to find out. I have to go monday for my monthly checkup and i go back a week and a half later to find out what im having. I find out on sept. 5th I will be almost 21 weeks b/c we do the ultrasounds on friday so my hubby can go

My fingers are crossed!! We only have a little girl name picked out (Jaslynne) as for a boy, we gave up. My BF has a lot of boys in his family and we couldnt figure out a name so we decided to wait and see what we are having before we stress about it. Im so excited. I've decided to go throught with it on Saturday if everything works out. I have been assured by just about all the ladies that Im not crazy!

well i would wait not only cuz of the money.. but you will get better pictures if your more along then 20weeks.and just think if you want it will be a better surprise.. and u could use the money on pink or blue clothes instead of just knowing.. its better shopping for the color then finding out and not being able to spend much.lol
2months aint to long.. i mean its 2months but youve had to wait this long as it is..whats another couple..
