This Morning

This morning I woke up and went potty.. only to see a scary amount of blood in the toilet and on my toilet paper. I got so scared, started crying of course.. and the paramedics came, (I refused to get up out of bed after that, I was too scared to walk) They checked me out and said I wasn't bleeding anymore.. called my doctor to see if I could get in there more quickly than waiting 5 hours in the ER.

So I saw my doc, she said it could have been from having sex last night. But we haven't quit having sex my whole pregnancy.. except for the month he was in California training for Iraq.. I heard my baby's heartbeat.. healthy, kicking everywhere.. That gave me a sense of relief I cannot explain, needless to say I started crying again (Happy tears)

But then my doc said I have a yeast infection.. I'm like ..UH..WHAT.. only b/c I've never had them tell me anything but, "Looks great" after looking in that region..

So.. how common is that, the bleeding to come and go, and yeast infections?? LoL..

i had a yeast infection at the beginnin of my pregnancy. they are actually quite common...

Ive heard bleeding is pretty common, my mom said during one her pregnancys that she bleed the whole time!
And my dr told me i had a yeast infection to...they just told me to buy one those monistat things at the store, is that what they told you?

I got put on an antibiotic for my yeast infection. And, I was also warned that sometimes when you have rougher sex, you might bleed a little. But if it was excesssive to call in. So, you're in the clear.

You probably bled bc of irritation of intercourse to the yeast infection. Happens a lot to me. Yeast infections are common during pregnancy

Hm, one of my friends has been on bed rest at 13 weeks because she had a blood clot in her uterus. She actually had the same situation as you, but she was out eating dinner, and within an hour, the bleeding stopped.

that's comforting.. of course, at the first sight of blood I freaked!
no, they wrote a prescription for something similar i suppose.. i am supposed to insert it vaginally once a day for three days.

i didnt know i was pregnant yet, but right after i concieved i got a yeast infection. it was really bad too. i havent bled, but ive also heard its common. my fiance's grandmother bled a lot during her first pregnancy, and so did my mom with me. i guess thats just the joys of pregnancy. haha

oh wow. I didn't bleed for an hour.. I'm glad she's ok.. How long is she on bedrest?

but she asked if I was itching..

I'm not feeling any symptoms of this yest infection what so ever..

I guess that's a good thing.. but...

my doctor gave me an antibiotic that i took orally. but i wasnt abe to take it until i was 16 weeks. and i took it for a week.
