taking baby out of the room..

posted 20th Aug
my daughter will be three months on the 28th, and shes been good with sleeping a long time at night. she will go to sleep between 9 or 11 at night, and wakes up sometimes at 3am, or sometimes till 6am and goes back to sleep and is up every hour or 2 after that untill 8 or 9.
should i try putting her in her crib now, or is it too early?

it's really up to you, I moved my son at 10 weeks b/c he out grew his pack-n-play hammock.

if you are comfortable with it, give it a try. if it doesn't work out you can move her back to your room.

It's not too early. That's about the same age I moved my daughter to her own crib/room. She adjusted pretty well, although it did take a couple days.

Just try and see how well she does and it's all up to you. The sooner you put her in her own crib the better because you won’t have to wean her. I put my son in his crib and own roomat 2 months. It took him around a month afterwards to sleep from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. It's a great feeling when that happens.

Well we had Kel sleeping in her crib in her own room from when she came home from the hospital at 4 weeks. I just was afraid to get her into the sleeping with us or in our room and then switching and it being hard for her. She was fine.
I think your daughter will do just fine. Especially the earlier she gets used to her crib. But its up to you. Parents are all different and feel different. GL darlin.

Try it, it's not too young. We started putting Sam in her own crib/room at 3 weeks. She was getting too big for her bassinet and would wake herself if her hands hit the sides. We started with naps then moved to nights.

My daughter slept in her crib in her own room from day 1  Now she is 14 months old and still sleeps best in her own crib in her own room.
