hospital bed rest 23 wks.

i just felt like leaving a topic. i am 23 weeks and 4 days today. i am on bed rest at the hosptial. i am at risk to go into pretermlabor. i have to pee in abed pan but hey i can get up to go number 2! its the little things. i am trying to keep him in for as long as i can! the doctor said i will be here till the baby is born, so i am set in my mind to be here for like 15 weeks i hope! i am staying positive. they took the ffn test last week and it was positive for me to go into labor in the next 2 weeks, but i haven't had any contractions and they are giving me medicine to make it so i don't have any at all. i just have to stay on the positive side. thanks for listening.

Sorry to hear that. I can sympathize a little. I went into labour at 29 wks and was in the hospital for a couple days, they told me it would be weeks so I was preparing in my head for your kind of situation. I hope all goes well for you and your little one stays in a while longer. My doc always said, remember that at this stage it's not just every day that counts but it's every hour that makes a difference!

i have like no cervix, thats why he wants to come so early. we named him Christian Joseph.

wow ~ best of luck to you. i also am on bed rest. i have a incompetent cervix and have ahad stitches and still its thinning out. doctor wants me to make it to 32 weeks before shes born. im 30 weeks now! try to set small goals for yourself. i always did like every week to two and set 1 big goal like make it to 32 weeks. kinda gives you something to look forward to. again best of luck to you!

hello, well thank you for all your thoughful replies, i am still here, its been 22 days now! i am hanging in there and so is Ethan! I am now 25 and a half weeks, on Saturday I will be 26 weeks! I am just taking it one day at a time, and thank ya'll so much for caring! I will keep updating.
