I don't know what I should do. My fiance told his dad that I didn't want his stepmom visiting every week. Therres so much more to the story. Now I look like a huge bitch, but I didn't want her to know that, I was just talking to Sean. I would never ask anyone in the family not to visit. Sean has said the same about my family, but I never told them.

No not at all. We did the same thing. In laws can be extreme and overwhelming.

my family and the inlaws all live over 1000 miles away   thank god.

I dont think that is being a bitch at all. Sometimes inlaws can drive you crazy and If you dont say anything they will run all over you.

don't blame you. who wants someone and she's not even family really hovering around every freakin week. what is she doing checking up on you to see if you are doing everything right.

When she called to ask if she could come up this time she said, i don't mean to invite myself, but is it ok if I come over Sunday.So I was just sarcastically explaining it to Sean, idk, and now we're in a big fight over it with both of our families involved.

If I were her, I'd probably be feeling pretty low right now. If shesa good person and treats you guys well, calling her up to explain that you just felt overwhelmed will help her be okay again. I guess because if it was her that you didnt like, than I guess its fine to say, but if it was in general to anyone that visits that often you might want to clarify you needing breathing room. I dunno.....

Its not just her, but she did come over the most. Really I don't mind visits, but I am just overwhelmed I guess.

And this may be stupid too, but I said to sean no one came up weekly when I was pregnant, or even before, so when are they going to stop?

Babies are alot of work, and sometimes people forget that in your spare time while baby is sleeping that youd like to do housework or go to the store instead of entertaining guests.
