Bloody Show?

posted 20th Aug
I think I am having bloody show now.. It is bright red blood. Is this normal... And.. I was wondering anyone else who experienced this, how long did it take before you went into real labor?

Hmmm I think the only time I saw mine was about 10 minutes before I went into the hospital. I know I saw some tinged mucous (TMI sorry) the morning before I went into labor. But not the real blood looking stuff until right before   Gooooood luck!!

I had that EXACT same thing. They went every seven minutes for two hours straight. Then they slowly came less and less and overnight I had like one.....the next morning, again hardly anything. Randomly they just started back up and water broke a few hours later. So hopefully that gives you some hope   Could be soooooon!

Good to know! Thanks for responding! So how long exactly did this whole process take for you? I am hoping they start up again! But... that is just wishful thinking because I don't want to be induced and would rather go into labor naturally and NOW. LOL

Well here goes....I was at 38 weeks. Wasn't having much AT ALL, just some random and very seldom BH.
Got my membranes stripped late Thursday afternoon. Cramped, spotted, had some BH on and off (but very seldomly) throughtout that evening. The next day, Friday,I was bussssssy. I had BH and some real feeling contractions (like strong and powerful ones) every so often, maybe two or three an hour. Cleaned like a mad woman. Went to the movies with my husband at like 4pm that day. Had timeable contractions for the entiiiiire2 1/2 hours ofcrazy Indiana Jones, lol. They were every seven minutes apart, almost exactly. I could hardly even walk out of the theater with them. Got in the car, cried of course, cause I didn't know why they weren't getting closer, but also not going away. Sure enough, it was around 8pm when we got home, and they gotfarther and farther apart. Went to 11 minutes apart for awhile, then 15 minutes, then just stopped. During the night, I woke up ONE time with a contraction. That was maybe at like5am too. So now it's Sat. Nothing alllllll morning long.By 1pm, I had had like two or three TOTAL for the morning. I was surenothing would happen.Around 3pm, they startedmore and more....about 10 minutes apart. Then just went down to 6 minutes apart for an hour. So I went for a mile walk.It was about 5pm and they wereconsistently between 3 and 5 minutes apart....timed them for two hours and was getting nervous. So we went to thehospital at 7pm. On my way up in the elevator, my water broke. Had him the next morning (Sunday) at 6am   So from Thursday to Sunday AM isthe main time frame of when I startedhaving contractions a LOT to when I had him   Hope that happens for you too!!!!!!
And sorry that was long, but I figured the more details, the better, lol
