WEll things are ok , the baby is healthy . However, my feet are so swollen I can't stabd on them for more than a half hour at a time . my back aches keep me awake at night . Last night I had the strangest stomach pains . They hurt pretty bad , I had to stop what I was doing . It was happening every few minutes , but eventually it went away . My stomach would get tense and it would feel like mt tummy was tearing open . It's way too early for labor , and I'm sure that is not the case . I wonder what it was
It sounds like braxton hicks contractions...as long as they go away they're nothing to worry about...but the swollen feet might be a different story. It might be a good idea to give your dr a call and let them know about the swelling and see if they want to see you.
braxton hicks are painful ? ahh guess ill just have to deal with it . I've been telling my Dr. about my feet ( she was in the prossess of moving to another state and is now gone ) and she didnt even glance at them . She wasnt too interested in anything , I can't see the new doc till Sept 15th cuz since my dr left , he is completely booked till then. I've been drinking way mroe water and putting my geet up a lot . but its no help =(
BH can be painful...nothing compared to the real thing though I remember walking through the store a few times and they would literally stop me in my tracks. That sucks that your dr ignored your complaints. I would at least try calling the new dr and talk to a nurse about your concerns. They might try to work you in if you're having an issue...even if it's just to have a nurse look at your feet. If you're drinking water and keeping your feet up, they should at least be getting a little better! If all else fails, a trip to the ER might be an order.
Quoting Kyles Wifey:“ I think i will call if it isnt bnetter by the time my hubby is outta work”
Yeah, your health and the health of the baby are too important to ignore possible problems. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Never feel bad or silly about calling your dr for help or advice. ..that's their job! Good luck and take care
