Activities

How many of you have your older children in after school activities?? If so what are they??

Mine are

Kendall- Dance classes&cooking classes
Aiden-Football& gym workouts with friends
Talia- Dance classes

My older son who is 11 does loads of activities after school he plays football,hockey,basketball,cricket and swimming

Yea. My daughter wants to do swimming so we will see this year. lol. Good for him!!

I want to get my girls into dance when they are a little older and tennis

ww. My daughter who is 11 has been in dance for 8years now!! It is wonderful. I help out the classes sometimnes and they seem soooo fun!!

What kind of dance does she do ? I want my girls to do street as we have loads of real good dance schools where we live

My 6yr old takes tap and ballet! And my 11yr old takes Jazz and ballet!!

My older childrne are 6 and 4 1/2, they are homeschooled (so no after school, just during school ), and my oldest takes art lessons with a local woman and both children want to start up taking violen this fall. I just need to find a place that isnt insanely expensive. They both participate in the activies of our homeschool group and as they get more interests, they will I am sure be involved in a few more things. Oh, and we are trying to get my oldest into the chess club at the local elementary school (because he is homeschooled and of course we are in the district and pay taxes, he can get into the chess club since the public school is required to allow homeschool students into any activity...I just need to call the head person after next week when school officially starts).
