It is set!!

My 5th baby will be delivered by having a water birth!! Anyone else evr have one?

oOo im jealous. i wanted one so bad but the hospital i am delivering at doesnt offer it

I told the midwifes at the hospital that I am aiming for a waterbirth, and I hope it will happen.
I'm not too sure about the circumstances of not being able to have one, like getting induced maybe, or keeping options open for maybe medical pain relief.
Since both my other kids were induced after staying inside for too long and being too comfy there, I'm worried I might have to go that way again. *sigh*
With my first-born, I got some medication to get my contractions started and then was allowed to get into a warm tub at the hospital. That was sooooooo good! They had me come out again after a couple of hours though, to progress out of the water - it wasn't a proper birthing tub, just a normal one. The birthing tub was occupied by another mum-to-be already. This was nearly 17 years ago though, so things might have changed.
All I remember was how easy the contractions felt in the water compared to the ones lying on the bed. I really want that again!

Yes!! I labored in the tub once and it was heaven!! lol not really just relief. Im so excited but I dont know how this is going to play out!
