Baby Clothes Checklist?

I quicky just made this list for the first 6 months so I'll know what to buy when it comes to clothes. I know I will recieve clothes at my baby shower so I'll just check stuff off as I recieve it...I dont plan on buying clothes until later anywayz   Just tell me if I have the right amount or if Im way off.

Newborn or 0-3 Snowsuit $20
5pk Newborn S/S Onesies $10
4pk Newborn L/S Onesies $12
2 - 3pk Newborn Footed Bodysuits $22
3pk Newborn Caps $5

3 - 5pk 0-3 S/S Onesies $30
1 - 3pk 0-3 Footed Bodysuits $11
3 - 0/3 Pants $10
5 - 0/3 Dressses $60-80

2 - 5pk 3-6 S/S Onesies $20
4 - 3/6 Sunsuits $24
4 - 3/6 Lil Outfits $24
3- 3/6 Dresses $45

2 - 12pk 0-6 Socks $12

I think you'regoing to need way more clothing than that.....

Your baby is going to be born in December, what about a wintersuit?
Winter mittens and scratch mittens.
Maybe more pants.
More bodysuits, maybe.

I don't know it seems like you're missing so much, for some reason.

I agree. It is a good starting point, but in the first 6 months, you will have to add to that.

Should I buy as I need when the baby is already here or should I add more now?
Idk, it does seem like a little but at the same time all you hear is "my baby didnt get to wear half of her outfits" and things like that.

And yes, I was completely spacing on the snowsuit. duh.

I'd say get what you have+snowsuit, and a few smaller things like that, and the amount you have should be fine. If your baby needs more later on, make sure you have money put away, just in case she grows out of them fast, or something.

as a newborn your baby will probably just live in onesies and sleepers so I would stock up on those. And get newborn sizes. My baby's 3 weeks and is still in newborn and she lives in just onesies because it's so hot and I have over 10 because she goes through so many quickly.

I think you will need more cause babies do spit up allot and your also having a winter baby so lots of layers is a must!

I would get 0/3 a little extra room isn't gonna hurt, babies grow fast!

 I had 3 buntings in 0/3 months that my January upstate NY baby NEVER got to wear because they were all too big on her...so maybe nb if you can find it!

I think you are being practical, but I would add more to it now. Think about how many times your baby will probably spit up or have an accident or blow out.  
I am a first time mommy, but i've had to baby sit and have nieces and nephews...Just think you need to times all that by 3. You should have enough. If you are having a baby is december you should get 0-3 mos, then buy a snowsuit/wintersuit as your baby grows. My baby is due Sept. 20th. I think I bought two packs of 3 onsies(newborn), one pack of 3 sleepers, and a dress. That's it. The rest pf the clothes I got were from my aunt. She had a daughter and my friends n sister bought me a few outfits and dresses too. I got like 10 receiving blankets from my aunt. Last week I got a big bag full of clothes from my co-worker. She gave me her daughters clothes. I just washed them all and kept the ones that I liked. If you aren't picky about how new your clothes are or whatever you should accept like hand-me-downs. It's gonna save you money and that way if baby gets bigger you won't have to worry that you spent so much $ on clothes she never wore. That's my thought about it. I am not too proud to let my daughter wear the clothes. I just think of it as being smart. Besides who knows what the weather will be like or how big baby will be??? You will know what to do just go with what you feel.

Just put both on your registry. And tell everyone you know that you want both. You will be sure to receive them.

I kept telling everyone I want a diaper genie. Well i ended up getting two. LOL!
