Potty training???

So my son is almost 17 months old and he is starting to show that its time to start traing him to use the potty when he poops and goes and grabs a diaper and brings it too me and he dose not pee during the night... anyway I know this is bad but I have no idea how to start on the whole potty training so if you all could help me out by telling me how u did it. I know its diffrenet for ever kids but some idea would be wonderfull thanks soo much!!! 

hi,My son just turned 18 months and I also inthe same sitution.My son take's his diaper off and run's around the house nakie!LOL,it's weird.He will only do it when he know's he pee'd and pooped and he will go and grab a diaper too...I just bought a potty and i'm taking him every 15-30 minutes and i tell him go pee pee and sit him down on it.It's only been a few days trying.Fingers crossed!

I started by putting my daughter on the potty every morning she woke up dry. Then i let her go without a diaper and put her potty in the living room. You have to stay close so when they go you can show them what to do. After tinkling on herself and being put on the potty she got the idea pretty quick. The potty then moved from the living room to the kitchen, to the bathroom and then we conqured the toilet. She was 18 months when she was fully trained we started at 16 months.

yea Iam really lost on the whole thing...I''ll start taking him to the potty every 15 mins or so and see how that goes.. OH and also I have brought like 4 potty chairs beacuse it seems like all of them when my son sits down on them hes lil pee pee sticks out and hes gonna pee every where its like he does not fit and hes not a big boy hes kinda small for his age i just cant seem to find one that works and iam spending way too much money on chairs!

Same here,have u tried baby b'jorn? It has a built in pee shield..
