Labor???

Well... as I posted earlier... I lost my mucous plug earlier today and I am starting to have contractions but they are weird and I was wondering what yall thought. I almost feel like I am having a very mild never ending contraction. My lower back and stomach feel tight and the baby can still move a tiny bit, but then I have stronger contractions as well. I almost feel like I can't time them because I can't tell when I am contracting and when I am not. Anyone else experienced this and what do you think?

maybe you should head to the docs i had that with my son i thought it was nothing so i didnt go to the docs and sure enough i was getting ready to go to sleep and my water broke and i had him 17 + hrs later

So you felt like you had the "mild never ending contraction" feeling." Normally I can tell so well when I am having contractions and when I am not, but I am having the hardest time being able to tell!

Time the strong ones and see what happens

mainly in my back thhen in progressed into the from of my belly then pop my water broke so yea the least the doc will do is send you home but i would go and be check before its too late

How soon after you started feeling the back stuff did you water break? Just curious...

my mucus plug came out early morning time i would say by 4 in the afternoon i was hooked up to a machine at the hosp and then being on that and contarating for a few hours i had my son 17 hrs later but at least i was contacting i dilated very slow in the begining until u got my epi and its was all good from there

thats how i was on thursday, it was a dull, neverending contraction... i'd call your doctor.

i was in labor!

This is a silly question of me, but how do you know when you have lost your mucous plug?

sometimes you don't notice it...It can come out when you havea bowel movement or during sex.... and sometimes you haven't lost it yet once you start having contractions... aaaaaaand sometimes it can come out piece by piece, in little chunks.

but it kind of looks like snot in your underwear...blood tinged snot. Its a whole lot of blood tinged discharge.
