Around how many people did you invite to yours?

I'm inviting 40 guessing that only 30 will show up. 

I invited about 25, 23 people ended up coming. I wish I had invited less to be honest...there was too much going on with that many people.

i invited like 30 but 50 ended up showing

I only invited 20. About 11-12 RSVP'd so far.

we're inviting apprx 80 ppl... but realistically i think about 20 will show up

my bf says its like shopping (how terrible right LOL) - the more ppl come the more stuff we might get ... awwwwwww, terrible LOL i know i know dont say it hahaah.. but its true!!

but we have a lot of friends here - so it adds up quick.

but really truthfull only invite as many ppl as you feel comfortable inviting!! my friend just had her shower & only about 15 ppl came and it was totally fine!

i will prolly invite 30-40 ppl.. mostly family .. and few friend's

I'm with you i have 60 people so far & more cause i know im forgetting people.

are you cooking your own food id hope ... to get it catered(sp) will be expecive

My and I family are definitely cooking our own food. Much cheaper!

my moms best friend has her own catering business so shes dooing it for free.

I probably had about 50 people at the baby shower I had for my son.  It was co-ed and soooo overwhelming!  I think this time around I'm gonna keep it much smaller and more traditional....as in girls only.  I love my guy friends, but drag racing should not be part of a baby shower!

about 70 people were invited to my shower (my BF has a HUGE family) and they are expecting with kids/couples it will probably be around 70 people who actually show (probably about 10-20 wont make it).I believe they are having it at a hall, and having a local deli make potato salad, cold cuts, macaroni salad and stuff like that. Im not actually supposed to know this stuff :-p
