nursery question

posted 19th Aug
ok, so i am almost done with the nursery but i need some advice. I dont have a lot for storage and am wondering what some find convinent for a nursery. I have a crib and changing table (the changing table has 3 drawers and some shelves) and i have a dresser. I have run out of room for a lot of the misc. items like extra blankets, toys, ect. I was thinking about some of those plastic bins but i dont know if it would look goofy in the nursery...What did you ladies use for extra storage?

I have to use those too! My sons room is so small we can't fint another dresser in there or we would.
See if you can find a drawer that slides under the crib. They sell them sepreate at almost any place but you have to order it off line i think

i agree w/ the closet hangee things : ) lol
they are those fabric 'shelves' that hang inside the closet.
another thing you could do is get storage bins that go under the crib; shelving units for the closet; OR those color coordinated storage boxes that you can get. they come in diff colors of fabric, or wicker, or just painted wood.

i got a portable closet made out of pressed wood from kmart for about 80 bucks. it has 4 shelves in it i believe and stands about 5' tall and has been my SAVIOR! you may want to consider something like it. another suggestion IF you do get something like that, get some plastic bins (i got mine in the storage section in walmart for like $3 each, rather than the wicker baskets that are more!) and i have all of the babies towels, sheets, PJs, socks, hats... everything in there and it is all separated by bins and small boxes.

I have two plastic "dressers" on top of two regular big dressers.. I keep the extra towels and burp clothes and bibs and toys in one in his room and since he is still in my room with his pack N Play I keep the other one in there with clothes that fit him right now. I don't even have a closet for him... these worked perfectly for me. and they are about 20$. Something like this, but Wal Mart is cheaper..
