caloric intake

So, last month when I went to my doc visit (22 weeks) she made me start a food diary because "im gaining a unhealthy weight." Along with that she aslo checked my thyroid cause I swore up and down that I am not eating that much. Thyroid came back normal.
My back ground real quick 
Started weighing 122ish. Couldnt conceive so Doc put me on Clomid. Within 3 months weighed 145 . Thats the weight I got preggers with. Last visit I was 179, now at 124 weeks Im 182ish.
After doing a food diary for the last month and checking the calorie count from thedailyplate.com, I am averaging a 1388.7   caloric intake.

So, my question is.....
What is your normal calorie intake and how much have you gained so far?
 cause this is just depressing..

p.s. I didnt just start to eat like this when I started the diary....I didnt change my eating habits at all.

This is what I'm going through to I feel like I'm gain ing so much weight and I'm not eating hardly at all! I can't I get sick from acid reflux! Everything recommends you eat between 2050 - 2300 calories a day! I would be a whale if I did that what the heck is goin gon with our bodies. Was your doctor concerned with swelling at all. I don't look swollen but I feel it adn my blood pressure was kinda high so it makes me worry I didn't have this problem with my otrher kidsd though!

Caloric needs depends on daily activity.. height.. weight .. age...

My BMR (basal metabolic rate-what your body burns if you were to sleep all day) is around 1400.. my caloric needs for a day are 2400... I have a hard time meeting that in a day, yet I still gained 9 lbs last appt.. lol

She wasnt worried about swelling at all, but my wedding rings defiantly dont fit anymore

It could be fluid retention.. that was the reason for my rapid weight gain with my first pregnancy (so needless to say I am a little worried this time).. My ring won't come off some days, but I haven't noticed any other swelling yet.

I tend to carry alot of water weight and I can tell when Iam swollen all over. I have kankles to begin with so that is not much of an indication to my swelling! When I swell I swell everywhere my legs my hips, fingers everythign so I don't htink they know if I'm really swollen just by looking at me! Well good luck I know it's frustrating I was so depressed this weekend over it I just wanted to cry!

k, well ive already gained atleast 15 lbs in my 24 wks...

but if you only eat 1300 cala day, thats NOT very much AT all ... unless theyre all from hamburgers & ice cream w/ tons of fat i have NO idea why youre gaining weight like that. and besides, it sounds like it will prob all come off when youre pp ... i know my cousin gained 80 lbs w/ her preg & my friend gained 60

i know its easy to stress over the weight ... but right now we cant really help it - so whats us ladies to do..
