stretch marks??

posted 19th Aug
so, regardless of which type of moiturizing lotion, cocoa butter, or scar treatment i use, they're dark dark red.. and they itch like hell.. which is just making them worse. any suggestions? i have extremely sensitive skin, so i've been using burt's bee's belly butter, and that works the best so far, but they still itch? any advice you have to offer i'd be thankful for!

Toward the end of my pregnancy I itched so bad, I asked my doctor and she told me to use Benadryl Cream I was concerned about it getting to my baby but she informed me it would be just fine, I only used every now and then.

yes Vitamen E but, you want to get the straight oil or vitamen capsules and break them open and apply to the marks. Vitamen E heals serious scars.

The lotion won't make them go away while you're pregnant. It just helps them become harder to see/go away after the baby is born.  And always go for anything with Vitamin E.

If nothing is taking the itch out try using corn starch. It sounds crazy and it is a little messy but it will definately take the itch away.

I use Burts Bee's Mama Bee lotion that you can get at Target or Wal-Mart.

My stretch marks faded so much and they have several different ingredients within the tub. But it's a little expensive but a little goes a long way.

Make sure you just keep it moisturized all day. Also, I use sesame seed oil and baby oil at night cause it lasts longer!

see, that's what i thought, but the vitamin e oil cocoa or shea butter on that i bought, breaks my skin out, so then it itches.. regardless of the stretchmarks..

and where do i get the capsules or straight oils, a health food store possibly? that's what my mom had told me too, but it made me nervous, because the fact that it's an oil, i was nervous that it'd stain, but as it stands at this point, i could care less..
