I'm So Mad!

I have no one to watch my baby While I'm in school, so I will have to use a daycare. I can't put my baby in day care until she is atleast 6 weeks. My School Principal told my mother that if I missed more than two weeks when I give birth that she will expell me and then turn my mother into the court officials because I'm not in school!!!!!!! Is that not the sorriest thing you've ever heard?!?!

ask them if you take the baby to school with you.

All of us that work deal with the same thing. I went back at 5 weeks...deal with it. I don't think he can turn you in considering you just had a baby, or you may have to transfer to a charter school for teenage moms so that you can bring your baby to school.

That's so stupid!! Wtf? People suck! I'm sorry, but that's not right. You NEED more time with your baby. Ever considered home schooling or something?

that is crazy and that principal should have some concideration. that just makes me mad.

Maybe you should find a school that will accomidate your needs. It sucks that she is being a bitch about the whole thing. Maybe home schooling?

Thats the only choice I'm left with. I can get enrolled in homeschool, then get my GED. It just makes me so upset how they are treating the situation. They won't work with me at all!

yes its very stupid. Ask about doing online school. So they offer it. You can get all the credits you need and will be with your baby. So you knock 2 birds with one stone.

they have plenty of home schools that you can do through the internet.
or alternative schools that have daycares. you just have to look into it.

here.. if your in college... they withdrawl you after 10 days [two business weeks.] of not comming to class... its part of their guidelines by the accrediation associations.

yes... saying that she's gona turn your mother in IS a bit extreme.. but you cannot expect to get special treatment..

i'd def look into alternative school/home schooling... you may have to go out of your way for an alternative school.. but that is just something you'll have to learn to deal w/.

wELL i guess i really cant talk, being i had a child when i was 17. but this is one of the reasons you wait until you are finished with school!! High school is NOT like a job that you can just take 6 weeks off. And there is a limit on the number of days you are allowed to miss in school.
