birth control and nuva ring ???

my dr said i should try the nuva ring becuz i am not good at taking something everyday at the same time (shit i am not even good at taking something every day prenatals only took 5!)

she said i should duse the nuva ring.

i told her i was BF but i told her we were using formula too. but i was reading the thing and it said that you cant breastfeed when you use it! does anybody know anything about birthcontrol and the nuva ring and if i am aloud to bf and use the ring?

my doctor said it was ok to use while bf.

just to saying but alot of people i know have gotten preggo on the ring i dont know about the BF thing though

The only birth control I know a lot about is Mirena IUD. I don't have to worry about taking anything and I could BF.

i dont like the iuds. i dont think i could get that plus i wanna have another in mayb a year or 2(i knw sounds crazy at 6 week pp)

If you don't like them than thats fine but you can take them out anytime you decide you want another baby.

got a ? dont want to steal the post but do you ever feel it in i been talking with my dr about getting one since we want a few year between our kids and he said that will most likey be the way to go since i also want to try and BF

You are supposed to take it out before you try TTC

I don't feel the actual device but I did experience mild cramping after it was put it because your uterus tries to get rid of it because it's a foreign object. I can see that with any birth control. That subsided after a couple days and then I just cramped after sex for a couple of weeks but I seriously haven't had any problems with it. I haven't had my pp period yet which I love and the best thing about it is that I don't have to worry about anything. We don't use protection and it's been very effective.

I didnt get pregnant on the ring. I was on the nuva ring for a year and due to insurance problems, i didnt use it for 2 weeks and immediatly got pregnant!!! I would recommend it to everyone tho.. just dont forget to put it in for a week or two. haha.
