Because i dont plan on pumping my breast that long so i need to make sure she will still drink formula afterwards. ?????? PLEASE HELP im due in 5days and still dont know what to do.

If you decided you don't want to continue pumping and using breastmilk you should start cutting pumping sessions out little by little and supplementing with formula until you are done pumping and completely on formula..

If you stop pumping all at once, it can be VERY painful and if you let all the milk build up like that without slowely weaning you can very easily get a breast infection...

It depends on how much milk you produce that determines how long it takes for your milk to dry up. I had identical twin daughters that I strictly breastfed for 13 months, and before they could nurse I had to pump because I was producing too much milk and they would choke, I ended up pumping about 100 oz of milk EVERYDAY and that's not including them eating 7-8 times a day. My daughters are three now, and I produced milk until about 3 months ago.
