HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello My name is Ashley I am mom to 8 month old Claire Jackson who at 22 weeks was diagnosed with a life threating defect.Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) occurs when the diaphragm fails to fully form, allowing abdominal organs into the chest cavity and preventing lung growth. CDH affects 1600 babies a year in the U.S. - 800 of those babies do not survive. The cause is not known. I panicked and went home and researched found this support group cherubs and this one also. Now spreading awareness is being threated by another organization in what seems to be a money making scheme off of these sick lil babies please help meby going to ipetitions.com/petition/cdhawareness

Im glad she is doing well. My nephew was born with the same thing 7 years ago and is doing wonderful now. Im gonna keep you in my prayers I know how hard it was on my sister.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry! I can't imagine what you must be going through. Was your daughter bornfull term?

I'm glad she is doing well, and continung to thrive. I'm sorry that she is going through such a rough time. I know that there is nothing worse in this world than watching your child fight to live. I'm sorry you're hurting. We'll keep you in our prayers and pass you along to others as well.

Thanks! She was born at 38 weeks and was 7lbs 2 oz . She had severe pulmonary hypertension as well as hyperpulasia she was on the vent 22 days and on oxygen for 35 She is very strong we thought that the worst was over when she came home after 53 days in the NICU She was admitted again for
bronchlioitis and then admitted again may 1st for what the doctors though was a stomach virus ( I told them over again it was a bowel obstruction) turns out I was right and she had to have emergency surgery. we do treatments 2x a day everyday and probably will have to for the rest of her life. But I consider myself a very lucky person that she is still with us. So many I have come to known are not as fortunate. Thanks everyone for signing!
