Mucous Plug Question...

K... I'm sure this question has been posted on here a thousand times but apparently I haven't seen it or I wouldn't be asking. I lost my mucous plug this morning and I was wondering how long after you ladies lost yours, you went into labor??? I am supposed to be induced next Weds or Thurs and I am wondering what my odds are of going into labor naturally before then if I have lost my mucous plug, her head is so low the sonographer can't measure it anymore, and I am 38 weeks!

I lost mine at 33 weeks... lol. the mucus plug isa mean little tease- don't listen to it   Could be an hour, could be a month..

i lost mine right as my water broke so mine was right away... but my best friend lost hers awhile agomaybe 2 or 3 weeks ago shes due september and is still fine, you just have to take it easy

I lost my mucous plug and a few hours later I was pushing lol!

However you can lose it a few weeks/days before you actually go into labour.

I lost my mucous plug 10 days ago and still have not gone into labor  

Some women go right into labor after loosing it and some wait weeks. I guess I was one of the unlucky ones who still has to wait.

i was wondering the same thing....if u loose your mucus plug are you supposed to call ur doctor right away or no?

My sister lost hers at around 6 months but everything turned out ok, my nephew is 3   You should contact your Dr. though just to be on the safe side.
