my baby daddy is circumsized and thinks its ok for ourson to be. we had a big fight over our son being circumsized but i told him straight hes not going to have it done. i dont think its fair for and innocent baby to go though pain.

I'm going to do it. Less painful they do it now and get it over with than to have it done when they are older.

I know its hard, but it will be easier in the long run. Its your decision though...just my thoughts.

brendon and i had this fight too, even though i didn't really care either way. brendon is circumcised and carson will be too. they don't remember the pain at all from it, and it doesn't take very long to heal. IMO it should be up to the father.

I've heard it's better to have the baby circumsized, at least the baby won't remember the pain, and it'll be hell for him to have it done later.

I think its better if they do get it done, for several different reasons but my number one reason is they are more likely to get infections

its like a religion thing wid my bf but i dont want my son to have that done. god made us the way we are for a reason.

my oldest is 12 now...and wants it done......
I wish he had got it done at birth......

Koen had his done at the hospital and they brought him to me right after and he wasn't crying or anything. the doctor said he was fine.
Mike is cricumsised (sp??)
so we decided to have Koen done too. I've also heard it's more sanitary.

When they're young enough they don't even feel the pain.
And they numb it.
Logan is circumsized and he only cried when they gave him the shot.
Other then that he was fine,babies get less infections if they're circumsized.
And it's alot cleaner.

DS was NOT b/c I was adamant about it. There is no real medical reason to have it done and we have no religious reason to get it done so it's not done. He's 3 and hasn't had ANY problems with it not being done. My mom was trying to convince me to get it done so that DS would look like daddy and not get picked on in the showers at school or whatever but since more and more boys are NOT being done, by the time he's old enough to be showering at school it'll be about 50/50.

If the daddy is circumsized you SHOULD get your son circumsized .

thats wot he said he said he shud hae a willy like hes dad. but i made my choice and thats just the way it is. he wasent happy though,
