Nursery update (kinda long)

As some of you may know that I've been looking forward to fixing my nursery. My little sister finally moved out the begining of this month. The only problem I have been having is motivating my husband to put the crib together, paint and hang the closet doors.
Yesterday, I ran errands while he slept (since he works nights). On my way home he called me and was wondering where I was (usually i don't run errands w/o him). I told him I got my hair cut, bought a Boppy Pillow, and sold our comforter to a friend for $30 (which is in great condition). Then I told him that I wanted to hang the valance in the baby's room. When I got home we snuggled for a while...Then I asked him, "How do I hang up this valance?" Well that got him up and hanging the valance. Plus, we had bought some new curtains for our bedroom. I asked him to hang those up too.

Today, NFM is delivering a day bed and futon for our guests to sleep on (whenever my mom comes). I was hoping I could pay those people to assemble the crib, but my husband said that won't happen. He smiled cause he knows I want the crib put together so bad. I just don't know how long it's going to take.
His parents bought us a combo crib and changing table. SoI am curious if any of you have one and how long did it take to put it together? I don't think you are anxious or impatient at all. I had my son's room painted and the crib put together not long after I found out I was having a boy! My husband and dad put the crib together so it didn't take very long, maybe an hour at the most. I love your bassinet, it is so pretty and the closet is so organized! Good job!

Thanks for being so nice. I am ready to do it myself. I know my husband has been stressed lately and he is not sure how long it could take. We barely have enough time in the day to eat dinner together. So it is a little hard. Maybe he can do it tomorrow, since it's his first day off in a long time. If he doesn't decide to take overtime. Well. Wish us luck!  

Good luck! Try not to stress, I'm sure you'll have it done in time for the baby. The scary thing is that the days fly by even quicker once the baby comes!

AW Thanks. I am a freak about it..I go in there everyday just to see if I could make it more organized. HA Ha!
The thing is my husband would not know what to do if I don't pair the outfits together, group them together by size. LOL!
Top of closet is 3-6 mos and bottom (where i can reach) is 0-3 mos.

Lol. Im right there with you hun. All my furniture is getting ordered and I will get it all sometimes with in a week. All I can do is organize my closet and I need more hangers. To top it off my liscense plates are expired so I cant go buy more hangers or return nothing till my husband is off work or the weekends.... GAY! I cant wait for my room to be done!!!!

So funny all we can do is organize the closet. I want to hang stuff too, but don't want it to look sloppy.

Im hanging everything that can be hung and putting everything else in little bins. I love it... I dotn know how much im going to keep the organization up when the babys here but I wanna try. Also I took my closet doors down cause I hate doors and I am making curtains to hang in front so I dont have to open a door everytime I need some thing. At least my hubby painted the walls!! But im way to independant and try to do everything my self... I will prob try to assemble the crib myself. lol.
