what do YOU thing about pitbulls?

Friendly little guys? or scary monster types..

and why?

Should there be a breed ban? on any type of dog?
why and why not..

No dog is born bad, they are made that way by the owners

Ugh, this topic always get's me upset.
It's not the dogs, it's the owners.
I have pit bulls and they are big babies.
I also have a 6 week old son, and they would never harm him.

I do NOT think pitbulls are killing machines. They are animals.
I do believe the owners are responsible for their dogs actions.....Not in all cases but in most.
I have always been around pits and they are great dogs!

i have a pitbull greyhound and she couldnt harma fly!!! well maybe a fly but if a pitbull is trained to be agressive then it will be! if it is raised with good morals then it will be a very nice doggie!

They are mis understood, all the large breed dogs,with the lock jaw syndrome are.....I have the sweetest Rott in the world, way nicer than my Jack Russell and yet he's the one everyone freaks out on!

Im not predjudiced towards pitbulls...I hate all dogs for many reasons.
I thinkpits get a bad rap though. *shrugs*

i have seen meaner chihuahuas than i have pit bulls. it's how the owner raises them.

i have a red nosed pit and while i love him to peices because he really is the biggest baby.. im still a little leery about letting my 5 month old pull on him.

But i love the breed, they really are something special.

nope , i`ve had a pitbill since he was 3 months old & my daughter was 4 months old , he is the most protective dog over her i`ve ever seen before , they are like bestfriends .

now ankle biters , are another thing .

The most lovable dog I've ever met was a pittbull.

It depends on how you raise them.

pit bulls are great dogs like MandyLoo said it's not the dogs,it's the owners. my dog is a big baby really.

I believe its how the owner raises the dog wether or not its goign to be a "killing machine" I personally do not like pit bulls. I am not scared of them or anything I just dont care for the breed. I prefer small dogs opposed to the bigger breeds. And I love mutts. I think mutts make the best pets
