I'm so upset...

My friend's girlfriend is pregnant... about 6 weeks... I don't know this girl like that, but from what he is telling me, she's being super super selfish. We've been talking about this since he found out. He's been so distraught about the situation. His and her families met up to try and smooth things out but it didn't even work. They told him he can't see her anymore, said that she has to have an abortion or move out of her parents house, she wants him to quit school and just be with her when he is supposed to graduate from college this year, and some other stuff I can't remember. He just told me that she is having an abortion. When I tell you I'm at work crying, like BOO-HOO crying, I just can't take it.

That's terrible! Fathers should have rights too. Its not the baby's fault it exists, its theirs, and she should own up to it. And shame on the family for encouraging her to kill it! I mean having an abortion just because you dont want to deal with it, I know women who would sell their house, car, and empty their bank account for just one child to love.

Wow, he must be taking it pretty hard... I think that girl is a dumbass. He's going to college to make something of himself and that would be so much more beneficial to the baby later on in life than if he quit school after coming so far. She is such a bitch.

He's 22, she's about to be 20.

He had it all planned out. He would finish and get his degree and work before he could go back to work his masters. He's getting his degree for IT so that's already a good field for THEM! It just hurts to see him hurting like this and he hasn't talked to anyone so in-depth about it but with me.

A friend of mine is in a similar situation, only she carried the baby. He got her pregnant, and she came to me and said she didnt want it, she couldn't have a baby right now. I convinced her in the very least to give the baby up for adoption, and if he wasn't stable enough, let his parents have the baby. His first baby was stillborn, so this one was soo important to him.

She plays all these mind games. She kept telling my friend she loved him, so he tried to make things work, then she turns around and says she hates him. She tells me she doesn't want him, then she won't let him leave her sight.

He followed her from here, ALL THE WAY to SoCal because thats where she wanted to be. He thought everything was fine, until after the baby comes and she tells him she hates him and didn't want him to come out with her to support his baby! So now he is due back in Ohio Thursday.

He had to ask his parents to help him come home, he spent all his money getting out there. Now that he is coming home, she decided she might want to come to Ohio too, so she tells him to take all her stuff with him!!!!!!! And now he has to put it in storage for her.

Poor guy just gets stomped on all the time. I feel so bad for him, he's my best friend. How can some girls be so selfish? His heart is tearing in two because he has to leave his baby on the other side of the country with this psycho woman. And its all because fathers have no rights.

Is he still trying to talk everything out with her? I would if I were him, I wouldn't give up so easily... I just think she's scared right now.

What about the babys body? She knows how to not make babies, it's not the babys fault it exists.

ETA: Her body became a shared object when she did what it takes to get pregnant. b/c or not, everyone knows the only 100% way to not get pregnant is to not have sex.
