What bottles work best for you? **POLL**

posted 18th Aug
Please choose the bottle you're using and why it is the best for you in your opinon....

*Reason for post, I've used Avent (currently using), The first years, Playtex and Gerber and all of them have something wrong with them that I dont like   I am planning on switching today to Dr Browns but just want to make sure it is the BEST out of all of them. If you chose "other", let me know which one.

Thanks so much and I hope this helps the mommies to be also

I've only used Platex drop ins and wouldn't use anything else. Bottles are such a crapshoot and what works for one doesn't for another.

Once in a while I will leave my son with my MIL and she will give him a bottle of expressed BM in a Medella bottle. They are very simple, small bottles, BPA free and he loves it-doesn't get gassy or anything. But again, it is only once in a while. I have friends that love Playtex drop ins, I personally don't have any experience with anything else

What is best about the drop ins? I might be considering trying that instead

Dr.Browns they are a pain to clean but they make a drastic difference if you have a baby that is gassy or has acid reflux, it's like night and day after only about a day or so. They saved me!!!!!!!

Playtex Ventaire hands down!! I've used Drop-Ins and Soothies and really didn't like either... and I've never had ANY probs with Ventaires... they work WONDERS reducing the air in the bottle, I'll never use anything else!!

Oh man, sooooo many choices now to choose from. Playtex ventaire or dropins??? lol Avent bottles are kinda hard to clean also so I dunno about Dr Browns now.

I want to start pumping and putting in a bottle so which do you ladiesrecommend with breastmilk?

I am glad I posted this otherwise I would've gone and got the wrong bottle again

I like that you can push out the air, throw away the liners and don't have the parts of the Vent Airs.

I choseOTHER cause I use/edEvenflo bottles and nipples. No particular reason, i got a ton of them at my baby showerso Averi has always had them and liked them. But now we are using Gerber sippy cups and saying bye bye bottles.

lol I thought that was a great feature too... until it exploded all over Aidan, me, and the bed  lol... not so fond of them anymore... plus I discovered the lids leaked EVERYWHERE when I tried to take them places in my Avent thermal bag... made a big ol' mess...

Oh! and since they collapse in it makes it hard to see what the baby has eaten and when to burp them...
