baby shower thank you notes?

so my baby shower is in two weeks...i was on my way to buy thank you notes when my cousin told me i didnt have to because im already saying thank you with my favors...we ordered crystal booties, pacifier and a carriage..and have little pink bags with candy in them very nicely wrapped,all of them have a tag that says thank you...so my question is should i still send thank you notes, or am i saying that with the favors?

I would. I think that thank you notes are more personal.

I think the favors are more "thank you for coming to the party". You should still write thank you notes, again mention thank you for coming and add thank you for the gift.

You should still do thank you notes. Every shower I went to had favors and they still sent a note.. I did both for my shower also.

I just had my shower this past weekend, and I'm sending out thank you cards this week to everyone that came and bought us gifts.

I'm not throwing my shower but I know my mom has party favors for the guests and I also am going to send thank you cards.
