Cramps after sex

I am 32 weeks and 4 days now. Last night after sex I had these horrible period feeling cramps off and on for about 15 minutes. I was like moaning they were hurting so bad   What was that? The BHC feel way different to me so I don't know if it was those but stronger ones or what?

I was the same way I use to spot afterwards also.
My ob said that thats normal after sex.

i'm not sure exactly what it is, but i have read several places that cramping after sex is normal while your pregnant, especially after orgasm.

I hated having sex when i was pregnant for that one reason.
The cramping after sucked soooooo bad.

I get that too esp if it's rough sex but no matter what I get them after sex

So they arent contractions then right? when do you start getting real contractions?

my midwife and my SIL both told me that those were BHC. And they get worse. Some are lucky to hardly feel them and some like us can feel them 2 mins after/during sex...I guess they happen all the time through out pregnancy just like regular BHC's but when you're further along for some reason you can feel them quite differently after sex. It gets to the point now that sometimes i can't enjoy it really unless i lay different and after i just want him off of me, lol TMI i know, but those suckers aren't going anywhere until she comes out.

after sex i get terrible lower back pain and pain down my legs... im hoping this doesnt reflect my labor at all!!!

no they are contractions, not labor ready but they are. there is also a place on babycenterthat explains about it.

OK thanks. They are so annoying. I was getting mad at Mike because they hurt so bad. He was like all I can say is im sorry. lol

Does anyone get lower back pain after sex?? Or is this just me...

hmmmm...i get lower back pain A LOT, but i haven't noticed any after sex.. im going to take a gander and say it could be that baby moved during sex and is sitting wrong and putting all the pressure there? or it could be a result of a BHC also.. I do know for sure though that back pain is the most lovely part of pregnancy! Lol 
I'll have to pay attention now, im usually just focused on the cramping. OH i do get cramps in my legs though!! drink PLENTY of water when that happens, its just dehydration. and a nerve pain is the baby sitting on the siatic nerve, just shake her off. lol

Well its like directly after sex that i get this pain, and it radiates down my legs! Its terrible...

aww Lol, No problem! Dusty is so used to it by now ( my bitching during sex about the cramps ) that he takes it way easier and stops to let them chill out for a min so i don't get angry and wanna quite early. Our poor guys! Ah the joys!

Yea I think those were BH's lol.. I had that too after some rough sex a couple weeks back, remember I posted on here and I was panicking?? Just relax drink lots of water, and if they start to become consistent, closer together, and stronger pains... then that's when you need to worry! But they usually go away.
