I had the worst night

So my hubby left sunday after dinner to start his new job . He will be staying out there for the week then comming home on the weekends. So anyways I am not used to being at home by myself , So I was geting tierd so Iwent to bed , i actuly fell asleep preety fast but then one of my dogs jumps off the bed and starts barking and growlling in the family room so I get up and i dont see anyone , so we go back to bed and I shit you not an hr, later he dose the samething soo now im kinda scard I turn all the lights on make sure the doors are locked and go back to bed , needless to say he kept on all night and I did not get any sleep!!

My husband works 24 hour shifts on oil tankers and when he is gone I can never sleep. I even try taking a Unisom and still I'm wide awake. I hate it

Maybe he just sensed you were scared and he was gonna protect you...
I shut my aniamls out of the room so i can get some sleep

Poor thing! He probably just knew you were home alone and was being protective! When my bf gets home super late from work and the dog and I are already in the bedroom alseep, he tends to jump up and growl at every little thing too.

thats creepy!! dogs don't usally do that if its nothing. do u have an alarm system. if not u might want to look into it since the hubby's gonna be gone most of the time.

yay thats what i figured becouse moab (thats the dog ) is really his dog , and ronnie (my dog) sleeped right threw it , but it still scared me . Im just a big fraidie cat .

yeah that would bother me. my dog was a puppy but she was very protective and would bark only if someone was outside.

It's probably a good idea to not watch any scary movies while your husbands at work at night;-).

Maybe a cricket or some small bug was in your front room.Dogs hear and see better than people,he might have just been reacting to something like that.
