Child With Glasses

I have a 6 yr old that got glasses this past April...does anyone else have a child around this age with glasses? He is farsighted but the worst thing is his astigmatism.

my sister had to wear glasses pretty much her whole life. We still make ful of her because she always called them her 'duwasses". But I remember as kids she HATED wearing them, and my parents pretty much had to force her to. Now though, glasses come in so many cute styles, just tell your little man how adorable he looks in them.

My oldest will be 13 in Sept...
He has worn glasses since about 9 years old...
The girls love him...hehe
He even has braces...lol

well my little girl is 9 now but was 8 when she got them, at first she was real hesitant about wearing them but now she loves to wear them and says she looks better with her glasses on.

my son has had them since he was 14mo old and his eyes are still pretty bad but he will be 6 next month. Last year he was in kider and had a problem where the kids were in a gang and telling him to take them off so they can laugh at him but I went to the school and handled it and he was fine after that.

I've worn glasses since I was 5 and i'm near sighted w/ astigmitisim. I'm almost 17 and my eyesight is still getting worse.

my son is 9 months old and has glasses and his vision is REALLY bad( he has like REALLY thick glasses)

My daughter got glassess for astigmatism, farsightness, andcrossed eyesat age 18 months. She wore them faithfully until her pre-teen hormones kicked in. Now we have contacts lol. She is legally blind without them and does great.
My daughter never lost a pair or so much as scratched a lens. She kept such good care of them because she could see with them.

My youngest has worn glasses for two years, since he was four. He does really well with them. We offer him a dollar a week when he puts them in the case at night. (thanks to his big bro he is motivated my money )He does this EVERY night, religiously! He wears them all day. 
His glasses have only been a problem when he swims and must remove them, and when we took him to the movies. The movie turned out to be in 3-d and that was an issue. Other than that we are just happy he can see clearly.
