Appt today

So our second doctor's appt is today. YAY!!! I'm 12 weeks, 1 day today. I think all I get done today is checking my urine and getting to hear the baby's heartbeat. I'm so excited!!   It will be such a relief for this appointment...and woohoo out of the first trimester almost.

I have been blessed up until this point and can't wait for all of the other "joys" of pregnancy...feeling the baby move, seeing the baby move, letting DH feeling the baby move, our next ultrasound, actually looking pregnant and not just chubby (lol),etc...

The next hour and half can't go by any slower...

awww! You've got it made. This will be my third freaking appt (second with the NEW doc) and I am just now getting a full physical. I don't know about these Orlando docs.... 

Aw yay! My second appointment is today also. 12 weeks and 2 days here. I was due for a pap smear so i'm getting all the fun stuff done today, physical, blood work and pap smear. But we will get another sonogram so I'll get to see and hear my baby again. I'm hoping it'll actually look like a baby this time rather than a shrimp lol

Yay! congrats! Yes, I had just had my yearly in February so I haven't had to have one so far....which is fine with me...lol.

Thanks for the picture comment. Good Luck at your appt. I started to feel my baby at 18 weeks so hopefully it wont be to much longer until you can feel yours.

Yay!!  I have my second doc appt next week where I get to hear the heartbeat too!!!  I can't wait!  Keep us updated on how it goes!  I should really put up some of my belly pics!  

I have my appt today too Sarah, can't wait, little nervous too. Mines at 2:45.
I hope he'll be able to hear the littles ones heart beat.

Welllllll - did you go yet? How was it?

hey Sarah, how did your appointment go. Mine was great, I heard baby's heartbeat, it was 153bpm. They also scheduled me for an ultrasound at 18 weeks, maybe i'll be able to find out what it is. I also chose to do the genetic screening test in 3 weeks. Well, that's pretty much all, Oh, and I gained 2 lbs. Hope your appt went nice and smooth too. Thanks.

hey dear!   how was the appt!?  

I can't believe you're already almost done with the first trimester!!   So exciting!  

I had my appt last week. They took 5 vials of blood for who knows what...doc said I wouldn't get the results back for 10 days or so. Hopefully everything is all good!

Hey! My appt went well also!!!   Not as exciting as the first one but we did get to hear the baby's heartbeat with the doppler. She couldn't find it at first and I got really scared. We were about to go to the ultrasound room when she finally got it and then it was perfect! It was at 152 bpm and steady so I was relieved. She said my placenta was in the way and the machine kept wanting to pick up my heartbeat instead. So, I am thrilled! I've gained 3 lbs total and my bp was great so I can't complain. And she said MAYBE I would be able to start feeling some flutters by the end of this month.   
I love my doctor too. As she was explaining that this month is kind of a "standstill" month in that symptoms start to disappear and the baby isn't quite big enough to feel, you sometimes feel Not Pregnant and a lot of moms worry this month b/c of it. She said at anytime I feel that way to just come on in and she'd let me hear the heartbeat whenever I needed that comfort.   How reassuring!!! Our next appt is Sept 15th!!!

How are you doing? What are they testing for that they needed all that blood...lol.

wow im 17 weeks and just having my second appt on thursday lol....and we still havent heard the heartbeat!! at our first (and only) appt she did a vaginal ultrasound so we SAW the lil heart beating but didnt hear it =[
