HELP! I can't read this test!

posted 18th Aug
My little sister went to the hospital and got a blood pregnancy test and her doctor kept giving us the run around, so we went to the medical records office and got a copy of it today and we have no idea how to read it.

This is what showed up
< 2
0.2-1 week: 5-50
1-2 weeks:50-500
2-3 weeks: 100-5,000
3-4 weeks: 500-10,00
4-5 weeks: 1,000-50,000
5-6 weeks: 10,000-100,000
6-8 weeks: 15,000-200,000
2-3 months: 10,000-100,000

so what does it mean? Does it mean that she could be pregnant but less than 2 weeks? Or does it mean that shes not? We really need some help! We would be greatful for any info at all!!!!!

that's what I was wondering....I thought that was the point of going for a blood test....so the doctor can TELL you...

Did she get a positive HPT?
I have no idea how to read that, but I am guessing it is her HCG levels.

Have her take a home pregnancy test, what you have is the scale of ranges HCG should be in for that far a long in a pregnancy, not the actual result

thats what I was thinking, I was thinking if she wasn't why would there be a 2? wouldn't there be a 0.2 or less?

And she has taken an at home pregnancy test, but it came up negative, the only reason we dont trust them is because they kept coming up wrong last time she was pregnant.

if her hcg levels are only 2 then she is not pregnant she has to at least be over 25 to be preggers

With my first pregnacy, we were TTC, so we went in for a test and the doctor told me there was some hCG, but they do not count it as pregnany unless your hCG level is between 50 & 500.

So he said; "Maybe."
