Formula question - cans or powder?

I was going to sit down and try to do the math (which I still may do) but I figured asking you ladies would be quicker..
I just bought some cans of the ready to feed formula because it was on sale but I was just wonderinig what actually worked out to be cheaper: buying the cans orbuying powder??

The powder will always be cheaper

Powder is cheaper by far.

I use powder its easiest and more manageable when traveling and wont spill everywhere like the liquid

Pwder will always be cheaper. I still buy both, it just depends on whats going on. When they were first born, i got the small glass ones that have like 3oz in them, it was too hard to mix less than 1oz. But that was really the only time.

I used the ready to feed when after she was 1st born, & bought a couple of the little cans of it as well to keep in her diaper bag (in case of emergency). When she started drinking more than 2 oz I bought the giant cans of powder, I didn't make it a bottle @ a time~ I made a batch of like 1 or 2 qts & filled all her bottlesfor the day& kept them in the fridge.

Yeah I finally did the math.. the ready to feed cans on sale are just about equal to buying the powder so yeah.. powder is definitely cheaper.   I was just curious!
