They kicked him out.

Well what i thought was going to be a good vacation weekend turned out horrible. We ended up going to New Hampshire since his parents have a vacation house up there... and Rob(my boyfriend) ended up getting into a fight with his dad. I guess what happened was Rob lit a sparkler and he was too close to the babies with it, and his dad freaked out on him (he was drunk) and called him stupid, and told him to put the sparkler out. I guess Rob didnt listen to him and walked away from the babies with it, and I guess his dad was still yelling at him and eventually got in his face about it. At this point I'm in the car with Rob's mother and we are about to pull out of the driveway to go to the store.
Rob comes running up to the car & gets in.

We get back and Rob just runs into the house to avoid his dad, and his dad followed him in the house. I wasn't paying attention what was going on, and I had no idea that they were arguing. Myself and the rest of Rob's family are outside by a fire we made outside and I hear Rob's mom yelling & screaming. At first I thought she was probably yelling at the dogs or something, but then we hear more & more yelling. So eventually Rob runs out & grabs an axe sized hammer and swings it at his dad's car window!!! Thank god that the window didnt break and he only left a dent on the rubber siding underneath the window.

Anyway, Rob drops the hammer and takes off across the street to his grandmother's house. I leave Mylah with her grandma and I go walk over to see what happened because at this point i still have no clue what happened. So he tells me the whole story of what happened and how him and his dad went at it and his dad punched him in the face, and Rob pushed him back and almost choked him..

So after I talked to him he insisted on wanting to stay out on his grandmas lawn so I went back to his parent's house to go check on Mylah. He comes back and his dad immediately follows him and gets right in his face. At this point I'm like "What the hell? Can't his dad just let it go for now and stop instigating a fight?"
His dad knows that Rob has anger issues, and he has alot of anger issues himself. Eventually Rob & I are able to get upstairs into our guest room. We settle down and 20 minutes later his dad comes up again. He gets right in robs face and asks him why he thinks he pissed him off so much and to explain why he did what he did. This pretty much sets off another argument and with Mylah in the playpen across the room, and me sitting next to rob they attack each other again. This time I broke it up. After they were off each other his dad told him that hes kicked out and he doesnt ever want to see him again. I personally just thought that he was overreacting.. although I would have been extremely pissed about him almost breaking the window on the car.

So the next morning Rob, his dad, his mom & I all sit and have a family meeting. We talked about the sequence of events that led up to the big blow up, and then it is confirmed that his dad wants Rob out of the house. The problem is that I still need to live here with the baby, without him, and its going to be really hard. Props to you single mommies out there! We also came to the conclusion that we are all going to go to family counseling. I am just afraid that Rob either isnt going to go or he is going to sit there and not say anything.
Rob and his father both have alot of anger issues that they need to figure out...
Now it just sucks because that means that I am stuck at the house all the time now..

Wow how mature of them... especially in front of the babies!

Wow, bet you're glad your partner and his family are so classy. I don't know why women are with men like that. Maybe if women stopped breeding with idiots we'd stop the cycle

no offense, but this sounds completely ridiculous. how old is your boyfriend? better yet, how old is his dad?! jesus christ, maybe hint at him next time not to go grabbing axes and swinging them at people's cars

Oh I'm sorry, I forgot to explain how the rest of his family was there, his older sister & her fiance, her fiance's mother, and the other babie's parents. I left with his mom and had his older sister watch him. I had no idea what was going on when I was leaving with his mom, or I definetly would have stayed with Mylah.
