Cloth diapers, bit different ?

Alright I'm not using them but a friend of mine is, and I want to get her a pack to send to her (she lives out fo state) but I'm slightly confused! In the store there is a pack of 3-ply cloth diapers, and a pack of "flat" cloth diapers. Same name brand, same price, same everything except the 3ply is thicker. I asked her which ones she would want, since they're the same and idk the difference (obviously one is thicker but other than that...) and she said she didn't know either. She did say though she is using diaper liners as well if it made a difference. So...would getting the 3ply thicker ones make it too bulky with a liner as well, or will she need the added thickness? I'm so lost...

If she is using diaper liners then you probably won't need the extra layers. I would get the flat ones

I don't know if she's using all in ones, but they have some freaking cute ones on this site! You should look into it.

Hm so either way it probably won't matter then? I guess I can get the thicker ones you can never have too much protection I guess. I just worry it will be too bulky...

Just grab her a pack of pampers. She'll thank you for it later. Kidding kidding, I don't understand cloth diapers. I mean I understand why people use them, I jsut don't understand how. I'll stick with disposables.lol I'm nooo help at all.

*shrug* me either. My mom scared me with horro stories of me as a baby and peeing through like literally 20 diapers in an hour...

My mom put cloth diapers on us whenever we would get diaper rash and stuff. Other than that, I get my laziness from her, and she was a disposable diaper user as well.lol Oh, and she used plastic bottles, so she told me if I get any serious illness later in life to blame it on her and the bpa in the bottles..lol (we joke about all the new scares involving babies and pregnancy)

LOL all you can dois joke it seems like, every week there is something new to worry about. Pfft...hell we're using Dr. Browns bottles and disposeables. Good for me good for my boy I guess. My dad is buying our crib mattress Sunday! Yay!! One less thing to worry with! Oh and also probably our baby tub too! Yay!!

We got a bunch of different types of bottles (soothie, dr. browns, playtex premium nurser drop ins, and playtex ventair) so I guess we will experiment and see which ones he takes to best. I think the only thing we have left to get is my breast pump. I think we are going to pick that up next week. Yes I say we, because Brandon should be home tomorrow..lol

ETA oh and some really generic brand of bottles someone got me at my baby shower. My luck those will be the ones he likes.lol
