what do I do?

Ok so my boyfriend has always smoked, and I have never smoked I just never saw it appealing ... but his smoking never bothered me until now, I mean I never really liked the smell but now I just dont like it at all. He goes outside to smoke and washes his hands as soon as he comes in but it still gives me the worst headache ever. I have talked to him about it and he is trying everything he can but I mean he cant take a shower 20 times a day. I dont know what to do. I cant make him quit I already make him go outside. Does anyone else have this problem and will it stop giving me such a headache sometime SOON? lol

My boss smokes. During the first trimester it gave me a horrific headache but it's gotten a little better in the second trimester. I still can't stand the smell of it though. I spray air freshener every time she walks out to smoke to try minimize the odor when she comes back in. Lol, probably won't work for your situation though. Good luck!!!!

When I was pregnant with my first it made me sick when I smoked so I stopped and to this day it gives me a headache. With this pregnancy it literally makes me sick and throw up just to smell it

Ive lived with smoke my whole life and i always hated it. My whole family smokes. I told my boyfriend he will NOT get into smoking cigarettes lol I would never want to be with someone who smokes so i would just tell them to stop if they wanted to be with me.
You probably will hate the smell through out your pregnancy or even more. I would just ask him to try to stop but thats me. Maybe he can at least cut down...?

yea your not exactly kissing your boss lol. I know it hurts his feelings but I cant help it I already throw up ALL day everyday I hate having to avoid him. Luckily no one at work smokes that Ihave to be around for any amount of time so I do have work to avoid it but then I just throw up because of the smell of the lab, its horrible I cant wait for this whole sick thing to be OVER.

I really would if his life werent so stressful right now but honestly I cant right now he stays home all day everyday with my daughter that is 2 and my sisters two kids that are 2 and 3 I KNOW he is stressed out smoking is all he has to calm him down right now lol.

I've found ultimatiums don't always work and then he'll just hide it from you (well, as much as it could be hidden). I guess I would just blame it on the pregnancy - - enhanced sense of smell is actually a common symptom of pregnancy.

Ugh, and the idea of kissing my boss (let alone liking her) makes me ill . . . lol!
